Pumpkin fun!

We 've been making the most of our enormous pumpkin which was kindly donated by Florence's Grandad. Mrs Forman carved shapes out of it for the children to sort and match.  We all enjoyed a candlelit snacktime followed by a story about the enormous pumpkin in the yurt.  On our way back to nursery Mrs Nelson hatched a plan and we decided to roll it down the hill! We had a great time running up and down the hill until the pumpkin was no more! A smashing time was had by all! We are going to give our broken pumpkin to Mrs Muxlow and Mr Campbell for them to take to the forest for Peter Rabbit and his woodland friends to enjoy for their supper!
Wishing you all a wonderful half term from the Nursery Team.

Lots of fun was had in nursery this week!

We enjoyed exploring pumpkins and collecting leaves. The lightbox was lots of fun especially when we turned off the classroom light and worked out how to change the colours. We placed letter sounds on the screen and  experimented by putting all sorts of natural objects on too!
